The short version

AI only on your say-so

The first time, Astrolinks asks whether you want to use AI at all. After that, Claude gets a summary of your day only when you press Write with AI or send a chat message. Never your log, and never full web addresses. Emails and phone numbers are hidden first.

With Astrolinks AI, that summary passes through our AI service on its way to Claude, and none of it is kept there. With your own Anthropic key, it goes straight to Anthropic.

Mark a client Private and nothing about it goes to AI. What Claude sees shows you the exact text before you send it. And without AI, everything else still works: the summary is written on your computer.

You decide what is kept

Turn off Record web addresses and browsers are kept by page title only. Add apps or sites to Never record. Choose how many days to keep, from 1 to 365. Delete an entry, today, or everything, at any time.

Honest about the edges

Some things are worth knowing. Safari private windows are recorded on a Mac like any other window, so pause first if you need to. Web addresses come only from supported browsers; others are kept by title. Your log is plain files on your computer. Only your keys, license and Slack links are encrypted.

Questions about privacy first

Do you have a copy of my log?

No. There is no Astrolinks account that holds it and no copy on our servers.

Does Anthropic train on my reports?

Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, content sent through its API is not used to train its models. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
